The Alafia* Tomato sauce is extremely versatile. It goes well with all carbohydrate dishes, from: Pasta dishes to jacket potatoes, chips, wedged potatoes, pizza toppings, it is good with bean dishes such as black eye beans, Carnelloni beans, Chilli con-carne, fish, vegetables, chicken, lamb, etc.
Potent Peanut Cooking Sauce
Everyone that goes to Gambia wax lyrical about Gambia's delectable peanut stews. It is eaten throughout the Savanah belt of West Africa. Those Gambian delights can now be replicated back here in England by stewing well seasoned lamb or chicken in our Potent Peanut sauce and served on a bed of rice or Couscous; or you may prefer it with a bowl of golden fried chips.

Balangwu* Suya paste
The Balangwu* Suya paste is a marinade of exquisite quality.
The marinade is made from an ancient recipe got from the city of Kano and dates back to the days when Timbuktu and Kano were respectively centres of mathematical learning and Kano - the capital city for the North African Spice trade. It is great even with mutton.

Q. Where are the products made?

Q. How are the sauces to be used?
A. Season the meat well, pour sauce over, then stew for 20 to 25 minutes. Salt to taste.
Or Pour sauce into a sauce pan, add a dash of oil, simmer for 10 minutes, add washed and diced vegetable, simmer for another 5 to 10 minutes. Salt to taste. Serve with boiled rice, chips, spaghetti or bread, etc.
Q. Can the sauces be used in Casseroles?
A. Yes. You can season red or white meat and pour the sauce unto the seasoned meat and casserole for 25 to 30 minutes, gas mark 4 (180*).
Q. Can the sauces be used with fish?
A. Yes. Pour into a sauce pan, add some oil, simmer for 10 minutes, then add fish, simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Salt to taste.
Q. What can the sauce be served with?
A. Alafia* Tomato cooking sauce can be served on a bed of rice, or with pasta, chips, rice and peas, eaten with bread or used as pizza topping.
Potent Peanut cooking sauce can be served on a bed of rice or Cous cous or with chips. It goes well too with Milli meal (Dzadza) and is fantastic with steamed broccoli.
Balangwu* Suya is good with any Red meat, a revival for mutton!.
Spicy Odeiga Paste is good with any White meat - pork, chicken, turkey.
